By public transportation
Prerequisites
- download the Moovit app for your smartphone. It says what is the best trip for your destination, with timetables, and assisted trip.
- buy the ticket at Bar, in front of train station Magliana. 1,5 Euro for 1h 15 min of trip.
Simple trip
Direction Piazza Venezia
- you have to take the train at Magliana Station (binario 2) for 2 stops (Trastevere station).
- Here take tram n.8 until, direction Largo Argentina, until the end of line.
- walk to Piazza Venezia
Walk in the center of Rome, the center of ancient world
- From Piazza Venezia go to Via dei Fori Imperiali, where is possible to see the ruin of Roma.
- Go to Colosseo (Piazza del Colosseo)
- Turn right to Via Celio Vibenna and Via di San Gregorio
- Turn right to Via dei Cerchi and see Circo Massimo
- Turn right to Via di San Teodoro
- Follow Foro Romano
- At Piazza della Consolazione you can go up Via Monte Tarpeo, where you can see all the Foro Romano
- go forward until Piazza del Campidoglio, you are on the ancient hill of Rome
- go down the stairs for see Piazza Venezia
